In a world that feels increasingly uncertain, it’s more important than ever to take some down time to resource, rest, regulate - and love! Join us for a transformative weeklong silent retreat at the serene Mount Carmel, where we’ll explore practices that nurture love, compassion, and wisdom.
Led by an incredible team—Meg Salter, Ralph Andradez, and Erin McCarthy—this retreat offers a unique opportunity to disconnect from the noise of daily life and reconnect with your inner peace.
This is a self-directed retreat, with lots of opportunities for practice, group teachings, private coaching and free time. Our team will offer expert guidance in meditation techniques and strategies designed to help you manage the ups and downs of being human, especially in challenging times.
Mount Carmel is the perfect, supportive environment for exploring practice and taking time for quiet and rest. Enjoy cozy, private accommodations, nourishing buffet-style vegetarian meals, and a community of wonderful, like-minded individuals.

Arrival: Friday, May 2nd, between 3-5pm Departure: Friday, May 9th, by 1pm
$1630 Canadian Dollars + HST * Registration Closes Fri April 18th.
Our esteemed teachers Meg, Ralph, and Erin, all trained in Shinzen Young’s Unified Mindfulness System. While the UM System will provide the primary framework for technique instruction, each facilitator will also draw on their own rich and varied experience with different traditions and teachings.
The retreat includes daily instruction sessions, private interviews, and ample opportunities for practice in a supportive and peaceful environment. Suitable for all levels of experience, participants are invited to practice as much or as little as feels suitable.
Set in the tranquil surroundings of Mount Carmel, this retreat features private accommodations with ensuite baths and fresh, buffet-style vegetarian or vegan meals. During the free time periods participants are encouraged to rest, continue practice in the meditation hall, or explore the serene grounds of the Monastery.
