Community Guide
A quick guide to participating in the Community.
Community Guidelines
Our weekly drop-in sessions are offered through Zoom, and are a supportive, inclusive space to share practice as well as bring your questions, experiences and insights. To ensure the best possible experience for yourself and others, please review these guidelines:
We kindly ask that you keep yourself muted unless engaged in Q&A/discussion.
You may choose to have your camera on or off, but if on, please avoid engaging in any distracting activities.
We appreciate your effort to arrive punctually unless the session description explicitly allows for flexible entry times. However, please feel free to leave the session when it works best for you. (For example, you may wish to attend only the first 30 minutes of an hour long silent sit).
Please refrain from offering unsolicited advice during Q&A/Discussion periods, unless the teacher facilitating invites input from all participants.
Interacting in shared community is truly a gift, exposing us to a variety of practices, experiences, perspectives and cultures. We invite all of our members to share, listen and respond with kindness, an open mind and an open heart.
Weekly Newsletter
As a member of our community, you’ll receive a weekly newsletter in your inbox with the upcoming week’s schedule of our free drop-in sessions along with the access Zoom links. The newsletters will also keep you informed about our special offerings and include content written by our amazing community members.
Free Drop-in Sessions
At the heart of Seeds' work is our calendar of high quality meditation sessions, freely available to anyone interested in practicing and making connections in a supportive community. We encourage you to explore as many of these sessions throughout the week as you like. A regular meditation schedule goes a long way to enjoying the fruits of practice!
We’ll do our best to notify you of any scheduling changes in the weekly newsletter, but in the event a session doesn't start or there are connection issues, please use the time to practice on your own.
For-Cost Special Offerings
Seeds will also be offering occasional affordable workshops, classes and retreats, all wonderful opportunities to take a deeper dive through particular themes, techniques or extended practice sessions. Upcoming special offerings are listed on our website and will also be announced through the weekly newsletters.
Support For Your Practice
For personalized support, you can explore private coaching. You can also attend sessions with a Q&A/discussion time or join our monthly community meet-ups for support within the group.
Supporting Seeds
Your presence in our weekly sessions plays a pivotal role in shaping the Seeds community, and we thank you for helping to foster a culture of support, inspiration and connection.
Additionally, we rely on monetary donations that make it possible for us to make our programs accessible to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. Find out more about supporting Seeds here.
